INNER MONGOLIA TRIP: DAY 4 – ORDOS

Our Trip to Inner Mongolia is restricted to the central region, around Hohhot. Ordos is located towards the south, near the mid stream of Yellow River. We passed through many mountainous terrain, which are rich in rare earth. Ordos is also infamous for many mega “Ghost Cities” (abandoned city projects). On Day 3, we dined at this interesting restaurant. Honey dew and water melons are large, juicy, sweet and cheap.

After our Mongolian breakfast, we departed from the Grassland to visit Yinken Resonant Sand George at Ordos.
Despite a 5A classic scenic area, this place is badly planned and managed by a Taiwanese company. I did not enjoy my trip here, despite the high expectation. Fortunately some of the English translations in their sign boards amuses a little.

A long tiring journey back to hotel, and dine on way back:

A really great fascinating journey my friend.
It must have been a very interesting experience, not only with scenery but food.
I would have thought there would be lots of tourists with a cable car.
    Regards
