NATIONAL OBSESSION AND CARNIVAL

NATIONAL OBSESSION AND CARNIVAL

It’s a national obsession and carnival:

All swear to open the Pandora’s Box,

Pull out the long tales, a foxy hoax.

Hooray to the power in a lucky draw,

Shared pockets, dizzy digits, overawe.

Greater corrupt consumes the lesser evil,

The lottery prize changes history on rival.

It’s a national obsession and carnival:

Social media and gossips talk about lost coffer,

Falling exchanges and rising cost augment anger.

Forwarded mails and chats show hidden talents,

Game is to discover donors and lucky defendants.

Even submerged and missing plane is washed ashore,

Wearing sunglasses for eyesore is political folklore.
