TONG LE PRIVATE DINING, OUE TOWER, SINGAPORE
To celebrate my birthday, my daughter booked this find dine in advance. Our party consisted of seven adults and three children. We were given a private room with long impressive table and seats, and a comfortable sofa at one end. It was situated on the 10th floor of OUE Tower, a revolving restaurant, with a panoramic night view of Marina Bay. The ambience was par excellence. A pretty receptionist greeting us at the entrance. The menu was pre-selected at S120 per person, but a friend helped us with a 30% discount. The kids had fried rice, and it was very well done. We ordered a bottle of Riesling at S100, so that our Red would be free of corkage. Service was good and courteous. The food portions were small, but they were well satiated at the end. Not every dish was excellent. Three of us complained that their wagyu was too thin and cooked liked fry BBQ steak, and despite they ate it, new excellent serving were replaced without charge. It was a good gastronomic delight for the night. Tong Le had won many fine dine medals, and boast of good range of fine wine. There was also a Japanese meal (1 room only) for pre-ordered.
