SEASONS AND LIFE: POEM TRANSLATION

SEASONS AND LIFE 〔季節和人生〕; MY TRANSLATION

Hurrah, the ominous haze is over,

Rain continuously for three days and nights,

Feel happy that the sky is now much clearer.

After the deluge, the world is again bright,

The morning sun lights up my chamber.

Dawn breaks, reminds its fine weather.

We must have met in previous existences,

In this fortuitous life, the encounter strange,

At dusk, really regret the late acquaintances.

Red and green maple in seasonal change

At end of autumn, every branch is barren,

In emptiness I impart my sense of disillusion.

Original poem, composed in Chinese, by my translator, Md. Liu May Ling, Toronto:

SEASONS AND LIFE 〔季節和人生〕
