HENAN AND XIAN CULTURAL TOUR DAY 3
After lunch, we travelled more than 50 km north west to Linzhou to visit Tai Hang Mountain. The view was astounding even at the foothill. We parked our bus and took an electric cart to ascend the hilly climb. I was sitting at the back, facing against the traffic. The young driver was speeding across the multiple bends of the serpentine road, circling one hill to another, passing through village houses and awesome peaks and gorges. I was holding my small camera, and had to steady my body with my lower limbs, while he made the turning. What a thrill in the cart, viewing the passing sceneries liked a video in mind. On our return trip, we changed to a moderate careful driver, and we tipped him.
The hills were imposing, majestic, and captivating; the gorges awesome; the air and the sky were not only the most refreshing and clear in China, but also elsewhere. All the hearts cry out to be there again. Not many Malaysians or Singaporeans ever came here. We were the first group of Malaysians our guide had brought.
