MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU: ECHOES 101

MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU: ECHOES 101

(1)

Aussieian 2011 commented on Echoes 100 thus:

Imperceptible

 Altering Predetermined

 Cycle Of Rebirth

(2)

This is my response:

conditional change

cycle of in and out breath

birth and death of thoughts

Note:

I think a lot of Buddhists take rebirth too literally. You die and you are reborn as another being (consciousness), or reincarnated into something (more Hinduism than Buddhism). The change is based on a wide domain of conditionality. This is what I have read and understood from reading on The Sixth Patriach Platform Sutra by Master Hui Neng, the first Zen master of China. Well, I am not an expert and stand corrected.
