KOREAN TRIP DAY 2:BOSEONG GREEN TEA PLANTATION (DAEHAN DAWAN)

Our driver paid for our lunch to celebrate college success of his grand children. After lunch we drove 32 km away (Jeollannan province) to our next destination, the Boseong Green Tea plantation. This terrace tea fields produce some 40% of green tea (yubi-cha) for whole of South Korea; with neatly trimmed tea shrubs, covering 560 hectares, tugged within cedar pine tree forest, with height of at least 20 m each.  The other tea plantation we knew was Osulloc at Jeju Island in the south. There was a beach nearby which we skipped.
