KOREAN TRIP DAY 3: BORIAM TEMPLE

KOREAN TRIP DAY 3: BORIAM TEMPLE

When the heat abated, we drove to the temple’s parking lot, then we walked about an hour along the steep, but wide road path, then ascending and descending stony steps again. It was an eye opener at the top of the Geumsan mountain. Boriam Temple  (previously known as Bogwangsan) meant “pretty as silk” Namehae Sea, beaches, trees and majestic verdant mountain range. Many people came here to watch the rising sun, which means you had to reach here before 5 am. We have better luck in watching sun setting.
