C93 CAFE REVISITED, KOTA KEMUNING

After dinner we walked a short distance from Waki to C93 Café. This is my third visit, and has no hesitation coming here, if distance is not an issue. I love the thick aroma of Sumatran tall black at Rm15 per big cup. It’s a drip coffee, powdered from the seeds on the spot, the drink maintained warm over a burner. The barista are well trained and professional; and invited you to enjoy the process of preparing a cup of coffee. My sister and in-law, who paid the bill, had his ice coffee, very novel way of preparing a strong coffee, but not for the aroma. I prefer my coffee warm, milk and sugar free. The rest had their tea. Frankly, if you stay near, it’s better to visit me for the coffee than to buy the whole set to prepare a cup at home, with lots of cleaning up. The sets and cups are fairly expensive. A meal without wine or whisky is incomplete; a dinner without a good cup to coffee is imperfect. A good cup of coffee will provides the kicks for the day.
