MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU ECHOES 315: BEYOND ORDINARY

MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU ECHOES 315: BEYOND ORDINARY

sawhorse strewn in parts

hold on humiliation

to discern damage

sunken sight of sink

pile-up of dirty dishes

scrubbed souls to spare

feathers flown on road

seasonal change sense by birds

new coat and challenge

look but do not see

precarious pretension

caught in camera

NOTE:

These four haiku are inspired by Claudia Mcgill’s In Awkard Circumstances. Please visit her page and posts for poetry and pictures. Her poems are simple and genuine , but with extraordinary insight. Whenever I run out of topic to write, I often seek inspiration from the work of others. I click “like” in her posts, and wish to leave my print of appreciation in haiku.

MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU ECHOES 198: KICK

MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU ECHOES 198: KICK

K.C Kan responded to echoes 197 thus:

Seaspray on coffee

 Alchemy of life’s present

 Bitter sweet pouring

This is my response to his haiku, called it KICK:

brew for bubble mood

kick all the way to bucket

sip, or fall asleep
