POEM TRANSLATION HAIKU 302

POEM TRANSLATION HAIKU 302

Mr. Kan responded to haiku 301, thus:

Leave off fat and lamb

Live slim live clean live sixteen

Life sans the bitter.

This is my response in a haiku:

   GRIND

no grudges to grind

basal bile glide through the gut

love is super spread

是超

Mr. Kan responded to haiku 299 thus:

ecrets sealed in stones

Bumpy ride on cobbled street

Smooth pavement again

This is my response:

without gall to gain

fat secrets slip out of gut

not smooth on the street

POEM TRANSLATION HAIKU ECHOES 273

POEM TRANSLATION HAIKU ECHOES 273

Emu responded to the first haiku, thus:

Life’s Orb Relaxing

Diamonds on Moons Rays Abode

Sleeping till Dawns Birth

This is my response:

   FAMILIAR AXIS

life rotate and spin

along familiar axis

chaos if off track

MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU ECHOES 232: DREAMS

MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU ECHOES 232: DREAMS

Claudia McGill responded to echo 230 thus:

Woken at midnight

the dream moon enters this world

walks down the dark street

This is my response, given a twist:

walk down dark alley

awakened by midlife dream

hope shines path ahead

MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU: ECHOES 231: SHADOWY SENTIMENTS

MALAYSIAN HAIKU/SENRYU: ECHOES 231: SHADOWY SENTIMENTS

love under moon light

shadows shape the sentiments

the night never end

Note:

This is a different response to Mr. Kan’s. Echoes 230 was after reading world news; 231 was after lunch with my love. The fun of poetry or haiku was its varied interpretation and responses
